This Terms of Service agreement applies to all services offered by Mantra Yoga LLC, The Practice Room, The Practice with Marlena, and any future businesses owned and operated by Marlena Bruno.

By booking or attending services through our website or in-person studio, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Bookings, Cancellations & Rescheduling

​

All bookings, rescheduling, and cancellations must be made online through your account. We do not process appointment or class changes by email or phone.

Classes
• Cancel >12 hours in advance to avoid penalties
• <12-hour cancel:
– Limited pass: forfeit 1 class credit
– Unlimited membership: $15 fee

• No-show:
– Limited pass: forfeit 1 class credit
– Unlimited membership: $20 fee

Appointments
• Cancel >24 hours in advance
• <24-hour cancel: 50% fee charged, balance credited for future use
• No-show: full session fee forfeited

​

Workshops
• Cancel via email 7+ days before start date for account credit (valid 3 months)
• <7 days: no credit; you may transfer your ticket to a guest by email
• No refunds

2. Membership Terms

​

All memberships auto-renew every 4 weeks.
• Cancellations require 4 weeks’ notice
• Cancellations must be made through your account—email, sms, and verbal requests are not valid
• No pauses, holds, or prorated refunds

Once cancelled, your membership remains active until the end of your current billing cycle.

3. Class Passes, Credits & Expiration

​

All passes and credits carry expiration dates, clearly published at the time of purchase. We do not extend or modify expiration dates. Unused sessions may be donated to clients in need.

Account Credits
• Issued when applicable per our cancellation policy
• Expire 3 months from issue date
• May be used toward classes, appointments, or workshops
• Not valid toward membership dues

 

Referral Credits
• Do not expire
• May be used toward workshops or appointments
• Not redeemable for cash or membership dues

 

Gift Cards
• Governed by Massachusetts state law regarding expiration and usage

4. Media Use & Recordings

​

Public classes may be photographed or recorded at any time for internal or marketing purposes. By attending, you agree:
• Your image or voice may appear in photos or videos used by The Practice Room or affiliated businesses
• You will not be notified in advance
• You will not receive compensation or credit
• Your likeness will not be sold to third parties
• All content is used solely for our brand (e.g., website, social media, email, or our on-demand library)

If you are uncomfortable being recorded, please refrain from participating in group classes.

 

5. Studio Conduct

We reserve the right to remove or refuse service to any individual who displays behavior that is disruptive, disrespectful, unsafe, or in conflict with the integrity of our space.

We expect all students to:
• Arrive on time
• Respect shared studio space
• Honor our policies and agreements
• Show up with presence and integrity

 

6. Assumption of Risk

​

Yoga and movement practices carry inherent physical risks. By attending classes, appointments, or workshops, you voluntarily assume full responsibility for your physical safety and well-being. You release Marlena Bruno, Mantra Yoga LLC, The Practice Room, and all affiliated parties from any liability related to injury, discomfort, or complications resulting from your participation.

 

7. Refund Policy

All purchases are non-refundable unless explicitly stated in the service description. This includes class passes, memberships, private sessions, workshops, and gift cards.

When applicable, account credits may be issued per our cancellation policy and will be valid for 3 months. Credits are not transferable, redeemable for cash, or usable toward auto-renewing memberships.

By making a purchase, you agree to these terms and take full responsibility for using your pass, session, or appointment within its valid window.

 

8. Payment Authorization & Dispute Policy

By booking a service or making a purchase, you authorize The Practice (and Mantra Yoga LLC) to charge your payment method for the full amount due, including any applicable late cancel or no-show fees as outlined in our cancellation policy.

If you have a concern about a charge, you agree to contact us directly at our "Contact Us" webpage to resolve the issue before disputing the charge with your bank or credit card company.

Failure to cancel a booking within the required time frame does not exempt you from fees or charges. By continuing to use our services, you agree to abide by all terms outlined on this page.
