Deeply stretch and release tension throughout the body to quiet the mind. Yin yoga realigns the energy paths in the body, clearing blockages for vital energy (Chi) to flow freely and restore overall health and balance. This gentle yin practice will prepare the body to receive the following deeply calming effects that restorative yoga offers our nervous system, through supportive floor postures, gentle therapeutic hands on assists and deeply calming relaxation.

Gentle massage, scented oils, bolsters, eye pillow and overall bliss included.

Yin Yoga: is the complimentary practice to our more dynamic yang vinyasa practice. A yin practice focuses primarily on floor postures, held passively for longer periods of time to allow the body to open and access the deeper connective tissues and fascia.

Yin yoga will restore and maintain the natural mobility in your joints, enhancing the body’s range of motion, energetic flow and emotional well being. Yin’s emphasis on stillness and silence promotes a deeply meditative experience.

Restorative yoga: provides healing for the body and the mind. It is especially useful when you need to eliminate fatigue and stress that result from your daily activities. It can also help you recover from illness and injury or overcome emotional depression and anxiety that are caused by traumatic events such as divorce, loss of job and death of a beloved.

It is known that restorative yoga can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which enables automatic control of the body. As such, the regular nervous system will be at rest, and the muscles will become more relaxed. Constant practice of restorative yoga will make your body less vulnerable to stress-related illnesses and help you achieve optimal health.

BONUS: Throughout this delicious practice you'll be washed in the healing sounds of crystal bowls masterfully played by Joe Hayes. Crystal bowls tuned to the frequency of our Chakra's heal and balance the subtle energy with in, leaving us feeling refreshingly calm and transformed on a cellular level.
