FAQ’S

ParkingParking is available on street and in local public parking lots.

Do I need to register for class: No.

Do I need to register for a workshop?: Yes. Our workshops commonly sell out. We cannot ensure that you will be able to attend without prior registration through our workshop page.

I’m new to yoga and I’m not flexible: Perfect! We were all new to yoga once. Whether you’re tight in the body, mind and/or stressed. Yoga is for you! Our classes are all levels however we offer Beginners and Basic’s classes as well as meditative practices to get you ready to join our flow classes.

Is this HOT Yoga? No. Hot Yoga is typically practiced in a 100° room. Mantra Yoga is a warm studio. All of our classes are gently warmed for comfort up to 75°- 80°.  In the summer months we cool the studio to 85°.  You will sweat: not because the room is hot but rather due to your natural internal fire.

What should I wear? Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Breathable, moisture wicking material is best. Avoid clothing that is too loose or too tight.

Should I eat before practice? It’s best to practice on an empty stomach or eat at least two hours before class. This will allow you to feel most comfortable in certain twists, bends and other postures. If you must eat something, make it a lite snack that can hold you over until after class.

How often should I practice? Yoga is way of life. You can practice the physical asana’s (postures) everyday and should practice at least 3-4 times a week. A disciplined and consistent yoga practice compliments and enhances all other fitness activities and daily life.
